About Pasture Pipes
Pasture Pipes is a free pipe puzzle game set on a farm. You can play it in your browser on a phone, tablet or computer. Every level is a field of six-sided tiles with pieces of pipe on them. Tap a pipe to turn it one step. When the pipes join up, liquid flows from the tap to the animals. Give every animal the drink it wants and it thanks you with something for your farm: the cow gives milk, the hen gives eggs, the sheep gives wool, the bee gives honey, the goat gives cheese, the duck gives feathers and the boar finds truffles.
The game has 99 levels in 11 worlds, and each world adds a new idea. Locked pipes cannot turn. Valves open and close with a tap. Buried pipes are hidden under a mound of earth until you dig them up. The bee drinks golden nectar and the boar drinks berry juice, and two different drinks must never meet in the same pipes or they spoil. Dirty green water must stay away from every animal. Rusty pipes only turn a few more times before they jam, and a cheeky mole pops up to turn your pipes unless you tap him first.
Some levels give you a limited number of moves, some are timed, and some allow no leaks at all. You earn up to three stars on each level by using few moves. There are three difficulty modes. Easy has small fields and generous limits, Medium is a fair challenge, and Hard has large fields, more animals and tight limits. A new daily challenge appears every day.
Build your farm
The milk, eggs, wool, honey, cheese, feathers and truffles you collect are used to build your own farm: a farmhouse, an apple tree, a barn, a tractor, a fountain, a swan pond and more. Every building you add gives you one extra coin for each level you win. Coins buy helpers: a hint that sets one pipe correctly, extra moves or time, a wrench that frees rusty pipes and digs up hidden ones, and a short look at the solution.
Tips for Pasture Pipes
- Start at the animal and work back to the tap. An animal has only one opening, so the pipe next to it has to point at that opening.
- Many pipes on the field are not needed at all. If a pipe cannot be part of any path, leave it alone and save your moves.
- Pipes turn in one direction only. Count the taps before you turn a rusty pipe, because one tap too many means a full circle.
- When two drinks are on the field, look for the valve between them first and close it.
- In levels with no leaks allowed, a pipe with three openings needs all three joined to something.
